Hey there, hi there, ho there! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney, Michael!
It sounds like you are planning a
practically perfect vacation this spring. Disney dining is always my favorite type of trip planning research, and you've chosen two of the best Walt Disney World restaurants; in fact, I dined at both locations over the holidays, and I have good news for you!
You won't need to pack your lederhosen to join in the fun at
EPCOT's
Biergarten Restaurant! You'll immediately feel transported to a Bavarian Village, complete with the rising moon, a waterwheel, and lots of guests enjoying their beers shouting, "Prost!" I like the Pink Grapefruit Hefeweizen, myself. But what made this experience charming was the Oktoberfest Musikanten, the band that plays at Biergarten throughout the day. They play various instruments such as the glockenspiel, bells, and even alphorns (remember the old Ricola commercial?), and you might leave humming the Chicken Dance. The buffet is good too, and we filled up on the delicious pretzel bread, beer cheese soup, schnitzel, and spaetzle.
Family-style eats with Polynesian flair makes
'Ohana at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort one of the best meals on Walt Disney World property. It was breaking news last year when it was announced that they were replacing the famous noodles with fried rice, but thank goodness the tiki gods answered our prayers. I'm happy to report the noodles are back and better than ever, along with fan favorites like the pork potstickers, coriander wings, and teriyaki steak skewers. And of course...there's the pineapple coconut Bread Pudding! We've enjoyed the limbo contests and coconut races in the past, but when we were here in December, the only entertainment was a ukulele player- which was lovely. By March, it's possible that they will add back some of these old favorites!
I hope this helps, Michael! Please come back and see us with more questions again real soon!
Sincerely,
Eean
