We are coming for 3 weeks to the Beach club in July. We plan to use the quiet pools and Stormalong Bay a LOT. There are conflicting answers on what sort of floats / tubes / rafts / toys etc you can bring. Can you please clarify. Thanks!

    Welcome Melinda!

It's great to have you with us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for your question.

Oooh Boy! Are you going to love Stormalong Bay at Disney's Beach Club Resort. This gigantic water play area has something for everyone, from the sand-bottomed shallow play area for the youngest mouseketeers, to the lazy river and shipwreck themed waterslide for your adventure seekers. I'm thrilled to hear that you are already planning to spend quite a bit of time in the pools during your stay!

Free up the extra space in your suitcase and leave your floaties behind. You just won't need them! You will find floatation vests in three sizes hanging by Stormalong Bay as well as all of the quiet pools for your young swimmers. There are clear tubes floating along the lazy river just waiting for you to hop aboard and relax as the jets propel you along. Even beach buckets and shovels are available with the order of a kids meal from the delicious poolside snack shack, Hurricane Hanna's Waterside Bar & Grill

If you feel more comfortable bringing along a floatation device like waterwings or a specific type of vest from home, those are welcome at the pools. You should also feel free to bring additional beach toys to fully enjoy the soft sands in the shallow waters. I would steer clear of any large toys, rafts, or floats because you will find that the numbers of your fellow Guests also enjoying the pools with you can make it space prohibitive for a larger float. Trust me, with all of the excitement around Stormalong Bay, you won't miss them!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
