We will be coming the week of Thanksgiving. For Thanksgiving day we would like to eat at a restaurant that will serve a traditional Thanksgiving meal and with characters. Where would you recommend? Also any other suggestions you might have for that week.

Hi, Terri!  While information for this year's Thanksgiving dining options has not yet been released, I can give you some suggestions based on years past.

If you'd like to enjoy your turkey with some of the characters, you might consider the Princess Storybook meal at Restaurant Akershus in EPCOT.  This primarily princess dining experience is a combination of table service and smorgasbord, but for the past several years, they have offered some traditional Thanksgiving fare.

Also at EPCOT, the Garden Grill in the Land Pavilion adds roast turkey and some familiar Thanksgiving side dishes to their family style meal.  Joining you for your Thanksgiving meal here will probably be Mickey, Chip and Dale, among others.

Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort also features Mickey and friends.  Added to the buffet last year for the Thanksgiving holiday was carved turkey, cornbread dressing, sweet potatoes, and other holiday favorites, along with many of the regular buffet menu items.

I hope you enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at Walt Disney World!
