Coming to WDW in 2 wks. Very excited! Quick ?, can I use mainly my credit card and only bring minimal cash. Can I tip the mousekeeping and waiters/waitresses with my CC? Does the snack stands accept CC? Don't want to bring too much cash. Thx!

There are automatic teller machines (ATMs) in all the Disney theme parks and most of the resorts, so you could replenish your supply of cash if you needed to. However, you can get away with using very little cash at Walt Disney World. You can pay for restaurant tips with a credit card or room charge. Also, the vast majority of snack carts at WDW do take credit cards and room charges. I was at Disney's Hollywood Studios two weeks ago and was able to buy popcorn and soda from a very small cart with just my Key to the World card. The counter service and table service restaurants and the souvenir carts in the parks take credit cards and room charges as well.

There are a few areas where you will need cash. The tips for the mousekeeper housekeepers will need to be in cash. If you're planning on using the Harmony Barber Shop in the Magic Kingdom, you can pay for your haircut with a card, but will need cash for a tip for your stylist. If you have a car, you're going to want cash to tip the valet service if you use it. Also, you'll need cash to tip any bell service cast members that help you with your luggage or similar services. I also like to have cash to pay for taxis if I use them, but many of them will also take credit cards (but not room charges).

    Hope this helps.
