Coming to WDW 2013. Trying to decide when to come with 14month old and 5 year old who will turn 6 april 20. Considering crowds, weather and the best value for my dollar.Whats better first 2 weeks of march or anytime in april. Will be there 5 days.

    Jessica,

How exciting that you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World in the spring of 2013! It's never too early to start planning a dream vacation to the most magical place on earth.

I would suggest visiting sometime during the first two weeks in March rather than April for lower crowds and the best value for your money.

Easter will be on March 31 in 2013, therefore the end of March and beginning of April will be extremely crowded as guests visit Walt Disney World during Spring Break. Visiting at the beginning of March will put you ahead of the Spring Break crowds. The weather is also beautiful during March, usually not too hot or cold. In March the average temperature is 78, compared to 83 in April. You will still get to enjoy the pools, but without the sweltering mid-day heat.

I also suggest visiting touringplans dot com for complete crowd calculators. For a small fee, this site provides ratings on the crowd levels and touring plans. It is a great resource for planning the best time of year to visit.

Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical trip!

    Magically,
    Stacy
