Hi Moms, Coming to WDW for our 1st time was wondering if for some reason we had to cancel our trip are tickets bought in advance online refundable ? And what does it mean when it says ( tickets must be used within 14 days of 1st use ? Thanks !!

Hi, Debbie!  Walt Disney World tickets are non-refundable, so if you have purchased your tickets separately and then had to cancel, you would not get the money back for the tickets.  If you have purchased a package that includes tickets, as long as you provide enough notice, your package is refundable - or it can be moved to an alternate date.

When the tickets say they must be used within 14 days of the first use, that means you do not have non-expiring tickets.  Once you go to a theme park and use your ticket, you will then have 14 days to use the rest of the days on your ticket.  So, if you bought a four day ticket, and went in today, you would have up to 14 days from today to use the rest of your days, or you would lose them.  This is why some people consider the non-expiring option.  Those tickets remain valid until you have used all the days on them.  Your 14 day clock, however, does not begin until you first use the ticket at a theme park, so don't worry about buying in advance.  The tickets remain inactive until you swipe them at the turnstile the first time.

Have a wonderful time planning, and if you have any other questions, you know just where to find us!
