Coming to WDW for the 2nd time in Sept.,The two places I wanted for Dinner have no spots open I wanted some suggestions on where to eat with 2 Children(3,5). The 2 places I tried to book were Mickeys BKYRD BBQ and Ohana!

Hey there Jay! Thanks for visiting the Mom's Panel! Two of my children's favorite restaurants are T-REX Café and Rainforest Café in Downtown Disney!  Both of these fun dining locations feature life-size animatronics in a themed setting!  Rainforest Café also has a second location in Disney's Animal Kingdom park. If you find that you are unable to get an Advanced Dining Reservation at T-REX Café through Disney Dining, I would recommend calling the restaurant directly at (407) 828-8739. I have been successful in getting an Advanced Dining Reservation this way when I was unable to online through Disney. Whispering Canyon Café is a rowdy western-themed restaurant at Disney's Wilderness Lodge that is fun for the entire family!  My boys loved the stick pony races on our visit! You may also consider booking a Character Dining Experience so that your "little Mouseketeers" can enjoy a delicious meal while having Characters greet them table side for photos and autographs! My personal favorites are Chef Mickey's featuring the "Fab 5" at Disney's Contemporary Resort and 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo,Stitch, Mickey and Pluto at Disney's Polynesian Resort. Follow the link I provided to view the entire listing of Character Dining Experiences that are available. If you will be visiting Epcot, consider dining at Teppan Edo in the Japan Pavilion as Teppan Chefs cook traditional dishes on grills at your table. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, I would recommend 50's Prime Time Café which serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. Please feel free to write me back if you need additional dining recommendations or have other questions regarding your vacation. Best wishes for a Magical September Trip!
    Bon Appétit,
