We will be coming to WDW in October with my 7 year old and 21/2 year old. We are leaving the day before my oldest daughters birthday. Can we get reservations if we are not staying there? And how can we get there from the value resort we are staying at

Anyone is welcome to reserve a meal at the Walt Disney World restaurants in the theme parks and the resorts. Guests staying on-site at Disney, guests staying at off-property accommodations, and even Florida area residents making dining reservations at WDW all the time. All you need to do is call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE up to 90 days in advance of your trip and they will be happy to help you arrange your meals. For the most popular dining experiences, such as character meals, I strongly suggest that you make your reservations at the 90 day mark.

The second half of your question didn't fully come through. I'm guessing you're asking how to get from your hotel to WDW. If you are staying at a Disney value resort, there is free bus transportation to the theme parks, water parks, and Downtown Disney. Using the parks and DD as a hub, you can get to any of the other Disney resorts as well.  Many off-site hotels do offer free shuttle service to the Disney theme parks. For specifics about that you would need to speak with your hotel directly.

    Have a great trip!
