We are coming to WDW in November, at Thanksgiving. We are staying at All-star Movies and I was wondering if my child will be able to swim in the pools at that time of year? I heard that the pools are heated. Is this true?

All the pools at Walt Disney World are heated year round.

I have been to Walt Disney World twice for Thanksgiving. The average high temperature at that time of year is in the mid-70s, but of course you may experience something higher or lower depending on the conditions in this particular year.

However, I have to tell you that even when it's in the frosty 40s outside, you'll still see hearty souls flipping their fins in the 80+ degree water. I have occasionally seen the resort pools closed temporarily for lightning or other severe weather, but I have never seen them closed due to low temperatures.

Hope you have a great time in the water.
