Hiya, Paul!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with such an important question! If you're anything like me, the dining experiences at
Walt Disney World are a major part of the fun. And since it sounds like you and your wife are the planners on this magical adventure, let's get these loose planning ends all tied up so you can sit back, relax and start your pixie-dusted countdown to the fun (and food!).
It sounds like you have already made your
dining reservations for two tables at the same restaurant at the same time, so your planning is off to a practically perfect start. Now, when it is time to check in for your dining reservations, just let the Cast Member at the restaurant podium know that all 16 of you are traveling together and would like to sit at adjacent tables, if possible. While it is not guaranteed due to availability and space, in my experience, the Cast Members do their very best to seat large travel parties at nearby tables.
I recommend arriving at the restaurant and checking in a little early to give the Cast Members time to figure out your seating arrangements. Also, be prepared to pack your patience with you, just in case it takes them a bit more time to work their magic. Then, once your hard work and planning have paid off, sit back and enjoy. Cheers! The countdown is ON!
I hope this was helpful, Paul, and I hope you and your entire travel party have the most magical vacation, full of food and fun. If I misunderstood your question or if you have any other questions, feel free to
stop by and ask me any time!
See ya real soon,
Mandy
