Coming to WDW in Mar.for 5 days with wife, daughter and grandaughter. Staying at CBR and have ADR at Chef Mickey's, Donald's Safari Breakfast, 1900 Park Fare and Crystal Palace. Was just wondering how much travel time should we allow from our resort.

    Hi Donald,

What fantastic dining choices, I'm sure your Granddaughter will have so much fun. The Caribbean Beach Resort is pretty centrally located within Walt Disney World and it's easy to get to most destinations from there. A great tool I use to calculate timings is on www.ourlaughingplace.com scroll right to the bottom and click on transport wizard, this allows you to choose any starting and finishing point on Disney property and gives you the best route and time.

For the meals you've listed Chef Mickey's is at the Contemporary Resort and 1900 Park Fare is at the Grand Floridian Resort. Both of these are on the monorail line so I would catch a Magic Kingdom bus from your hotel and then catch the monorail to the resort. (There is also a boat from MK to GF if you'd prefer) I would allow an hour to do this journey just in case you have to wait awhile for a bus.

Donald's Safari Breakfast is at Disney's Animal Kingdom so just catch the AK bus and Crystal Palace is in Magic Kingdom so again catch a MK bus. Both these journeys should take no more than 40 minutes, allowing for bus waits, but you then have to actually enter the park and walk to the restaurant so again I'd allow at least an hour.

    Have a fantastic trip,

    Jo
