We are coming to WDW in March and staying off property. MK opens at 9:00 and we have Be Our Guest reservations at 8:15. What are the best parking options to get us there on time? Is it worth the preferred parking in this case?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica! Are you counting down the days until you Walt Disney World vacation? I always do!

I’m so happy you have a reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom Park. Your family will so enjoy their delicious breakfast! I suggest arriving to the Magic Kingdom at least an hour before your reservation. It takes some time to get through security, scan your park tickets at the entrance and walk to the restaurant tucked into Fantasyland. It’s always better to be a little early than risk arriving late for your reservation.

Since your reservation is before the park opens, it may not be worth paying the extra fee for the preferred parking spots. Parking attendants start to motion guests to the spots closest to the entrance as people start arriving for their magical day at the park. It is safe to say that your family will enjoy a great parking spot because of that early reservation.

Did you know that you can pre-order your breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant online or through your My Disney Experience App up to 30 days in advance? It’s a great feature that my family and I have used! This will also help give you some time to enjoy the attractions in Fantasyland right as the Magic Kingdom opens for the day. Yay for shorter wait times!

Jessica, I hope you have a great visit! Don’t hesitate to stop by again if you have any more questions!
