Hello. We are coming to WDW in June 2012. This is the 1st trip to WDW for half of the group. I need to book ADR and we are a group of 4 adults and 8 kids ages 16-2. Would it be better to make ADR as two groups or one large group and let them separate us?

Hi Dana,  How exciting that you will be visiting Walt Disney World in June! I know your group is going to love the "Happiest Place on Earth!" You can either make your Advance Dining Reservations online or by calling (407)WDW-DINE. I visited Walt Disney World in December with a group of 11 and we were able to be seated together at both Table Service meals. While making our reservations, I had been informed that at one of the locations they could not guarantee keeping our group together. However, once we arrived for our Advance DIning Reservation they were able to seat us at one large table. If you really want to sit together, I would suggest making the reservation for one group and then, if needed, your group could be split. I often make my Advance Dining Reservations online, but in this situation, I often check availability by calling and speaking directly with a cast member. Also, please know that you can begin making dining reservations 180 days in advance. Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel! Let us know if there is anything else we can do for you! We are always here to help! I hope you have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
    Bon Appétit,
