Hi! We are coming to WDW in June 14 with our 3 children. We have booked our stay at a Hilton resort, because we received a vacation deal from them. Can I still book a character meal at a Disney restaurant even though we aren't staying at a Disney resort?

Hi, April!  You can absolutely still book a character meal!  You are welcome to make reservations at any of the restaurants at Walt Disney World.

Reservations open up 180 days in advance of the day you want to dine, so you'll just have to mark your calendar.  Some of the character meals can book well in advance, especially Cinderella's Royal Table, so you'll want to make them as soon as you have your plans set pretty much in stone.

The advantage to staying at a Walt Disney World resort is that when your 180 day window opens, you can book reservations for up to 10 days, eliminating the need to call back in every day or check the web.  Guests staying off property will have to check each day to make their reservations.

    Have an awesome upcoming vacation!
