We are coming to WDW in July and staying at the Polynesian resort. Do we need to bring beach towels for use at the pool? Or are their towels provided? Also, what's the most efficient way to travel from the Polynesian to the parks?

Welcome, Meredith! And Aloha! My family and I love Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. It feels like we're on a remote island paradise, completely removed from the rest of the world. It's simply a magical and relaxing place! I can't wait for you to experience your stay there!

There are towels available at the pool, so no need to bring your own. Save that space in your luggage! The Lava Pool is my kids' favorite pool of all of the Walt Disney World Resorts. They think it is so cool to scale the volcano and come splashing down the volcano slide. I enjoy the relaxing Pacific island atmosphere of just lounging on a chair by the water as they play the day away! Plus, we love the Movies Under the Stars there every night and roasting marshmallows at the nightly campfires. Without even visiting the parks, we could stay at the Polynesian for weeks and still have new things to explore! Oh, and you simply must have Tonga Toast at Kona Cafe for breakfast! Yum!

Another perk to staying at the Polynesian is that the Monorail runs right from the resort to Magic Kingdom. Hop onboard and after a quick stop at Grand Floridian, you'll arrive at Magic Kingdom. There is no better way to travel than that! If you'd like to go to Epcot, it's just a short ride on the Monorail to the Ticketing and Transportation Center where you'll do a quick switch to the Epcot Monorail and you'll be there before you know it! To get to Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios, simply take the Disney buses that arrive and depart throughout the day and night. They may take a bit longer than the Monorail, so just keep that in mind when planning your day.

    Have such a magical trip!
