    We are coming to WDW in July for our Honeymoon. We just recent got the package with the Pop value resort but I noticed today that they have the new summer discounts and it would allow us to stay at the moderate resort we really wanted. Can we upgrade?

    Congratulations on your upcoming honeymoon! What a wonderful place to spend your special time!

    Disney is almost always able to upgrade your reservation and/or apply a newly announced promotion to an existing reservation. If there are rooms at the resort you'd like to change to that are available under the discount, you should have no trouble at all.

    I would suggest calling Disney at (407) 939-7675 as soon as possible to ask about making the change. If, for some reason, your resort choice no longer has rooms available under the promotion, be persistent! Be sure to call back every few days and ask about any openings. I've always had luck getting the resort I've wanted by calling often when I've first been told it was unavailable.

    I hope you have a great trip! And don't forget to pick up the "Just Married" buttons at either your resort or Guest Services at the Disney Parks! You'll have a great time as Cast Members wish you and your spouse "Congratulations" all the time. Plus, you never know - maybe some extra pixie dust will be sprinkled upon you as you start your new life together!!
