Were coming to WDW Jan 14. Currently have res. at AOA but with the stay, play, dine special offer we are contemplating changing to CBR. We have 2 daughters 4,6 one of which LOVES Ariel. It would save us $250 to change. What are your thoughts?!?! Thanks !

    Hi Shannon,

What a great trip you have planned for January! I have been to Disney many times in January and the temperature difference is amazing. I would definitely check a weather site to plan accordingly.

Ariel is easy to find for your daughter as she has her own attraction in Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland. This should make it easy to keep her happy.

As for switching, Caribbean Beach Resort is large and has many activities for guests. The food court and shopping are all located in one building. However, you will all be in one room and some guests like the ability to put their children to sleep and then relax with adult time.

The advantage of Art of Animation is that you have a separate room to sleep as well as an additional bathroom and a kitchenette. If you ordered food from an online grocer such as Garden Grocer, you might be able to save money on breakfast by eating in your room. That savings could be close to the difference in price between the two rooms.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
