    We are coming to WDW the first week of January. My sister gave us some great gift passes for AMC Theatres. They are movie passes, drinks and popcorn passes. Does the AMC at Downtown Disney accept these tickets? How can I find out?

    Hi, Anna!  The AMC Theater at Downtown Disney is a regular AMC theater, and they do participate in the same types of promotions and accept gift certificates and passes purchased at other AMC theaters.

    The only thing I would say as a word of caution is that there are always some movie releases that do not accept passes.  In most cases, these are the brand new releases or movies that are on a special engagement.  You can go online to amctheaters.com to find out which movies are playing at the Downtown Disney theater, and it will indicate for you if there is a movie for which passes are not accepted.
