    We are coming to wdw first week of feb. we want to visit universal... if you dont rent a car is there a way to get there .. we are staying at the port orleans hotel..and if it is by taxi how do we find out how much it is

    There is a easy way to get to Universal Studios from any WDW resort, if you do not have a car, and that is to use the Mears Transportation Service. Mears is a shuttle and charter service located in the Orlando area that provides dependable and frequent service from the WDW resorts to the local airport of neighboring attractions. The current rate for a round trip ride to Universal from WDW is $18.00 per person for riders over the age of four. There is no charge for children under four years of age. You need to make reservations with Mears the night before at 407-423-5566. They offer many different times for return trips back to the WDW resorts. For more information visit Mears website at
