Hi, We are coming to WDW in 2011. With Easter being so late next year, do you still anticipate huge crowds then? Our other options are end May/beg June, or late Aug which I see you recommend if having to come in UK school holiday times, which we do. Thanks

Hi, Samantha!  The spring break crowds at Walt Disney World can begin as early as March, and usually peak right around Easter week.  Schools in various parts of the country take their breaks at different times, although there are quite a few that still have off either the week before or the week after Easter, so even though Easter is later, many school holidays will fall at that time.

If you can avoid the Memorial Day weekend crowd, the end of May or very beginning of June is a fairly good time, as not all of our schools are out for the summer yet.  I also LOVE the last week of August.  Most university students are already back in school, many southern schools are back in session, and it seems the crowds really begin to thin out around then.

I hope that helps with your planning!
