We are coming to WDW in December for a wedding and staying on site. What can we do for several hours after the wedding without using one of our theme park day tickets?

    Hi Deborah,

How exciting to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in December for a wedding! You are going to love the convenience and other benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel.

If the wedding is held at Disney's Wedding Pavilion, consider having dinner at one of the Disney Resort hotels located on the Resort Monorail loop. At California Grill, which is located on the 15th floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort, Guests dine on Californian cuisine while enjoying sweeping views of Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom Park. When dining at this popular, Signature restaurant, Guests are able to access a private observation tower to view the spectacular firework display at Magic Kingdom Park. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of my favorite Disney Resort hotels to visit in December. There's nothing better than admiring the life-size gingerbread house and other holiday decorations adorning the lobby while listening to the pianist and live orchestra. Narcoossee's is another great option for a Signature Dining experience which features a relaxing, yet romantic atmosphere.

You may also want to consider visiting Disney's BoardWalk to enjoy a romantic stroll around Crescent Lake, watch the evening street performers and choose from one of several amazing dining locations. Follow the link provided to see what fun awaits at Disney's BoardWalk.

I'm out of room for my answer, but please visit again with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip!

    Happy Celebrating,
    Jodie
