We are coming to WDW in December 09, after my Auntie has had her second hip replacement in order to celebrate. Last time we were there, we saw some guests in the parade and were wondering if it is possible to arrange this for my auntie.

    Hi Bethany,

What a sweet and amazing idea to honor your aunt during your upcoming trip. Most of the parades at Disney World do often include guests as grand marshalls or honorary participants. Unfortunately there is no way to request or reserve one of these opportunities. Occasionally the guests that are chosen are part of a special trip, for example Make a Wish. Most of the time the guests are randomly choosen throughout the park by the Cast Members. Word is they are looking for a family just having fun and enjoying their day, and if you are in the right place at the right time, you might get lucky. You can certainly stop at the guest relations location upon your morning arrival to the park, and ask if she can be selected but there is no guarantee that would work.

Good luck and lots of pixie dust!
