Coming to WDW for 8 days 2 boys 4 & 6. I have a lot of CD planned for our Oct trip. Is MMBYBBQ a good choice? I have planned Ohana (breakfast & dinner) Chef Mickeys, Tusker House, Hollywood & Vine, Sci-fi, T-Rex, and will be attending the MMNSH

    Amy,

I do like Mickey's Backyard BBQ, as it is different than a lot of other options. I like the live music, the food that is actually pretty good, and the opportunity for my girls to actually dance with the characters. The only other time they have ever done that was with Woody and gang during the Halloween Party. You do, however, have to prep them for the fact that they are not able to get autographs from the characters during the party. They only come out to dance.

I will warn you that you do have a lot of character meals in that schedule, and you might find them getting a bit zoned out by it all. For our trips we have started to try to wean down to just 2-3 character experiences per trip, but we have come four years in a row. So if the budget and schedule allow it, I would definitely try it out if I were you.

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
