We will be coming to WDW to celebrate two occasions...our 20th Anniv. (May 5th) and my birthday (May 8th). We have our 4 and 13 year children in tow so what's the BEST way to celebrate?

Well, Happy Birthday AND Happy Anniversary to one Jersey girl from another!  It sounds like this is shaping up to be a Magical celebration!

Not knowing what your budget looks like, I'm going to make suggestions for things that we've done in the past, and with a little advanced planning, we found them to be affordable and well worth the investment!

For a birthday celebration for your family, you could try 'Ohana at the Polynesian resort.  The meal here is served family style, and we have always enjoyed our meal here.  There are activities that they get the children involved in, which makes the experience more fun for them, and if you time it right, you might be able to enjoy the Wishes fireworks display as you dine.

Another option for a magical experience is a Fireworks cruise.  This can be booked for either the Wishes Fireworks display at the Magic Kingdom or the IllumiNations display at EPCOT.  They will decorate the pontoon boat for your celebration, and you can choose to add food and beverages when you book your package.  The cruises sell out very quickly, so you want to be on the phone right at 7 AM at your 90 day booking window to try and book this incredible experience.

There are so many great options for a romantic dinner with just you and your husband!  For an amazing culinary experience, my husband and I LOVE Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  The authentic African flavors make the meal exciting and something you can't get at home.  The filet mignon with macaroni and cheese is one of our favorites!

I hope you enjoy your celebrations!
