Hi! I am coming to WDW in April 12 and want to pre purchase photopass. Am worried that we may not get enough pics to make it valuable. Am I assured of a refund if we decide we don't want the disc? And any ideas on shipping costs to UK? Thanks! :-)

    Hi Gail,

There's an article about this very topic on yesterday's TouringPlans.com blog. The price of shipping the PhotoPass CD to the UK is approximately 7 pounds.

If you're unhappy with your PhotoPass photos, you can receive a full refund up to six months after the purchase date of your pre-ordered CD.

I should warn you that pricing for the CD is going up next week (March 21, 2012). If you're thinking about pre-ordering the CD, I would encourage you to do this now.

You can do a lot yourself to make the CD a worthwhile purchase. On trips where I've preordered the CD, I make a big effort to stop at every PhotoPass photographer I see. I'll ask the photographer to take multiple shot with different expressions and with different combinations of family members. Remember that the CD makes financial sense over ordering individual pictures if there are more than about 10 pictures that you like. It's pretty easy to get 10 good photos if you ask the photographers to take multiple shots.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
