    Hi, We are coming to watch my daughter's dance competition at ESPN...any advice? How far is it from Hollywood studios? How do I buy tickets that day?

    Hi Jennifer!  How exciting that your daughter will be competing at Walt Disney World Resort!  My nieces participated in a dance competition recently at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and they could not have been more thrilled to combine the sport they love with the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.

    ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is about a 10-minute drive from Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Follow the signs as you exit the parking lot, or use your GPS to help you.  If you will not have a vehicle and plan to rely on Disney's complimentary bus transportation, limited bus transportation is available from Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney's Pop Century Resort.  Some events may offer transportation from Disney Springs; check with the event organizers for more transportation information.  My sister found the most efficient way to travel between the theme parks and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is to use a ride share service such as Uber or Lyft, or Disney's Minnie Van service.  Minnie Vans can be requested through the Lyft app and are driven by professional and knowledgeable Disney Cast Members.

    Tickets for the competition will be available for purchase at the venue.  Theme park tickets that also include admission to the competition are available from the event organizer and can be purchased at the Celebrity Hall tent at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort.  Theme Park Tickets with the Park Hopper Plus option include admission to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and may be purchased at any Theme Park Ticket window, Guest Relations location, or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.  (Event prices are set by the organizer and some events do require an additional admission charge.)
