Hi Frances,
Ooh...I'm SO excited to hear that a new Mouseketeer will soon be joining your family! Congratulations!
I'm happy to let you know that there is still a LOT that your daughter will be able to do during your upcoming Disney vacation. All of the attractions will have signage out front with accessibility guidelines, including a notice if expectant mothers should not ride. You may also find that information online, including the ability to sort the list of
attractions to show all of the ones that do have a
restriction for expectant mothers. While there will be some attractions that she won't be able to experience, you'll find that there are still dozens more attractions, shows, character experiences, etc. that she can still enjoy! I personally visited several times while pregnant, and still had a BLAST!
To help her stay hydrated and comfortable, complimentary ice water is available for all Guests at all food and beverage locations, and she's also
free to bring food and drinks with her into the theme parks. There's quite a bit of walking required at the theme parks, so I'd encourage her to wear comfortable shoes and to take frequent breaks to rest. If she has any
medical needs during your visit, there are first aid stations in all of the theme parks that are staffed by nurses, and all Disney Resort hotels can offer in-room medical service, 24 hours per day, if needed.
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Frances, and please come see us again if you have any other questions. I hope that you and your daughter have a truly magical vacation this summer!
Missy
