We are coming to stay at Port Orleans Riverside next month and I am trying to see if the activities schedule at the resort changes weekly or monthly or is the same for the whole summer.

It's so good to see you again, Amanda! Thank you for bringing your question to us here at planDisney. I am a huge fan of both a resort day in the middle of my vacation and entire resort-only stays where I focus on making the most of my time at the hotel, no parks required! I'm happy to hear that you're exploring the resort activities for your upcoming stay, so let's see what will be on offer when you make your way to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.

In my experience, the resort activities have been updated on a weekly or seasonal basis. Sometimes the activities schedule would list a particular date range at the top, and other times they would simply display days of the week and what guests could expect to see or do on a given day. Disney Resort hotels have recently started putting the activities schedule online for guests to view, so I popped over to the Port Orleans Recreation page to take a peek at the offerings.

The activity schedule link may give us a clue as to how often it will be updated. The URL has a date of "May 26" in it and reference to Cool Kids' Summer. This makes me think that the schedule will be in place for all of the Cool Kids' Summer period, which kicked off May 26th and runs until September 8th. Now, it is possible that the offerings will change over time, like when the calendar turns over to June or when the resort wants to refresh the titles for Movies Under the Stars. You can check the activities link on the recreation page as your vacation gets closer to note any changes or to start making an itinerary for your resort activities.

This should help you plan the perfect resort day, Amanda! I hope you make time to roast marshmallows at Ol' Man Island or splash into some fun at a pool party. Come back and see us if you think of additional questions as you prepare for your trip. We're all ears!

    Stay magical,
    Scott
