We’re coming to stay at the Boardwalk! Which character dining will be available around that area in February? Hoping to score a reservation!! Any other fun things to check out in that area?

    Hi Jennifer,

Welcome back to planDisney! We love when Guests come back and bring us more questions, and I'm delighted to help you plan your next Disney adventure!

You're going to LOVE Disney's BoardWalk Inn! It has a charming yet fun vibe, and its location is incredible! Being able to walk to EPCOT or hop right on the Disney Skyliner and head to Disney's Hollywood Studios and several other Disney Resort hotels is super convenient.

While character dining is still modified (meaning that you'll greet your Disney friends from afar), it has returned to several locations. You'll find the most current list of character dining availability on the helpful Dining: Know Before You Go page. As far as the closest character dining experiences to Disney's BoardWalk Inn? You'll find a bountiful feast at Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT, a beautiful and tasty breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera, or a classic and fun meal at Hollywood & Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Of course, Chef Mickey's, Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White, and Tusker House Restaurant are all excellent choices, too! I'm sending pixie dust that you'll find the perfect place to dine with beloved characters during your upcoming stay!

While you're at Disney's BoardWalk Inn, you simply have to stroll the promenade in the evening. You'll find fun street performers and all kinds of magic and fun just steps away from your room! Renting a Surrey bike would also be an enjoyable way to spend some time. The view along Crescent Lake is beautiful, and in the evening when all the lights are twinkling overhead, it's magical! Looking for some adult-only entertainment? Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance Hall are located on the west end of Disney's BoardWalk and are open each Thursday - Sunday night. They're both a ton of fun...no park ticket required!

Thanks so much for bringing another great question to us here at planDisney, Jennifer, and please feel free to keep them coming. I hope you have another truly magical vacation!
