Coming in Sep with 15 yr old (her and I), have res at POP but considering upgrading to POR or POFQ due to the closeness to Downtown. Which one? is this a good idea? Have dining and hopper passes. Taking the boat to DT appeals to me.

Oh Janey, tough question! We are huge Downtown Disney fans, and I loved the boat ride from Port Orleans when we stayed there this past March. My daughter is nine years old, and prefers the activities and theming of the values. Given that you're travelling with a 15 year-old, I'm thinking the moderate might be a better choice. I would highly recommend showing her the web pages for Pop Century and Port Orleans Riverside (I recommend the mansions) or French Quarter, which should help in your decision-making. If it were my choice, I'd go with Port Orleans Riverside! There is so much to do at Downtown Disney, and having it so conveniently located is a definite plus. The pool area is fantastic, and the grounds are simply beautiful.

Wishing you a magical no matter which resort you choose!
