Hello - we are coming from Scotland in March for two weeks. Last year we stayed in a rented villa off site - this year we are at the Swan. Is it going to be ok for two weeks with our almost four year old son?! Bit worried too long in one room now! Thanks

Hi, Alana!  This is going to be one of those questions where your mileage may vary, based on your family, how you like to vacation, and how much time you'll spend in your resort room.

My girls are ferquent travelers, and I know that we've done five of us in one resort room for two weeks (longer sometimes!) without much incident.  If it's just three of you, you should have enough room for storage, which is always a primary concern for me when we travel.  The more I can put away, the less cramped we feel!

If you are planning on doing theme parks quite often, maybe spending time at the pool, or even doing some resort hopping and shopping, I would think you'd be fine in this size room.  I find the Swan rooms to be generously sized, and while there isn't much privacy (like no separate room for the grown ups to go to when the little one goes to sleep), it is definitely possible to make it work.

The thing that helps my husband and I make it work - especially when our kids were small - is we made sure the room was darkened and quiet when it was time for the kids to go to bed.  They were able to climb under the covers and fall asleep, and once they were asleep, we were able to put the television on and stay up a little bit later.

I hope you find this to be a very comfortable arrangement!  We usually find we're so exhausted at the end of the day, we could sleep in a shoe box!

    Have a great holiday!
