We are coming to the parks at Christmas and want to get a great souvenir to take home and add to our decor. We have ornaments and picture frames; we are wanting something more unique--maybe even something that can only be found on property. Any ideas?

    Hi Matt,

My favorite Disney souvenirs are ones that are personalized for my family. For example, I love the profile silhouettes that an artist on Main Street at the Magic Kingdom created of my daughters. Similarly, there are pastel artists at the Beach Club resort and caricaturists in several locations that could create original art of your family.

But my family's gift to me this year is that we're all going to sit for a portrait session from Disney Fine Photography. There are several levels of portraiture, some quite inexpensive. You can have photos taken at several resorts and even inside Epcot before the park opens. THAT would be a great addition to you decor.

You may also want to consider sculptural as well as flat decor items. The Art of Disney shop at Epcot has a number of figurines of Disney characters and iconic architecture that would look great sitting on a tabletop or bookshelf.

I'm happy to provide more details or more ideas, just let us know if you need additional help.
