We are coming in October and I did not use Disneyworld's website to book our rooms and tickets. Do I have to have a reservation through the Disneyworld website to make a dinner or lunch reservation?

Hello, Heidi! Thanks so much for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I think you will be happy to hear that a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation is not required to make a reservation at any of the practically perfect restaurants on property.  I do highly recommend that you make an Advanced Dining Reservation for any Disney Park restaurant you would like to experience. Take a look at the menus for all of the Resort restaurants and see if any of them strike your fancy. When my family is on vacation, we tend to head to more adventurous restaurants, a place that we do not generally find at home. Some of our friends stick with restaurants that serve foods that they know for sure they will like. No matter how adventurous your family’s dining experience is, I am sure you will find a most delightful place to dine during your jolly holiday. Advanced Dining Reservations open to Guests 180 days in advance and there are several that tend to fill up faster than you can say supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! So make your Advanced Dining Reservations, spit-spot!

Please let me know if you have any further questions, Heidi.
