We will be coming in October with our almost 5 year old. She hasn't used a stroller in a year or two, however with the long days of walking at the parks, I'm wondering if I need to plan on one and if the ones in the parks fit a 5 yr old???

    Hi Jamie!

Even if your little girl has not used a stroller in a couple of years I highly recommend using one on your vacation.   The Walt Disney World Resort is huge, and walking surely will tire out your little princess.  My four year old son loved using the stroller on our last vacation, he would walk to and from attractions but gladly accepted the ride in the stroller when it was available.  I think a stroller rental would be a great investment for your trip.

The strollers available for rent in the theme parks are large and very easy to maneuver. My 8 year-old daughter was able to catch quick leg breaks in them with no problem at all.   The strollers at Walt Disney World are a molded plastic type, and not the most comfortable spot for little ones to nap in.  If you think your daughter will be napping or using the stroller outside of the theme parks I would suggest you either bring one from home, or rent from  local services such as Orlando Stroller Rentals, or Magic Strollers.   You will be able to choose from a variety of different stroller types and they even deliver and pick up from Disney Resort hotels.   Rental reservations from outside sources do need to be made in advance so I suggest looking up rental information via the internet.

Thanks for stopping by with such a great question Jamie!   Please let us know when we can assist you again in the future!

    Have a Tiggerific Day,
