We are coming Nov '15. We have bands from a '13 trip. Will we be provided new bands upon arrival next year (coming from Ontario)? Old ones could be activated but kids' colour preferences have changed. Thanks, can't wait!

    Hi Sara,

Guests are given a new set of MagicBands with every new WDW hotel stay. You're welcome to select new colors for each trip.

As a frequent Disney World visitor, I now have 10 different Bands just for myself. I have all the colors, plus a few special commemorative editions.

You can use all MagicBands linked to your account interchangeably, or you can decide to just have one MagicBand at a time active for each family member.

In my case, all ten of my MagicBands active on my account, so I can use any of them to open my hotel room (even if I originally got the band during a previous stay), enter the parks, charge purchases, etc. My kids like to coordinate their bands with their outfits. Other guests prefer just to use one Band all the time and elect to deactivate their extras.

To manage your MagicBands, log in to your account on the website. Click on the My Disney Experience tab on the top right. Scroll down to "MagicBands and cards" in the "My Account" section. You can select or deselect  any of your bands for active status. All active bands will function for all you Disney World functions.

Please let us know if you have additional questions. We're happy to help.
