We're coming next month! We will need milk, juice, fruit, & yogurt for both kids for 3 days. Garden Grocer charges a $17 delivery fee. What will be cheaper--grocery prices + fee or Disney prices? Kids are too young for DDP, so we'll have to buy their f

    Hi Matt,

The answer to this really depends on what and how much you're ordering from Garden Grocer. You should know that some items that GG can deliver are not available in the Disney resort shops. If something like this is important to you, then you don't have much of a choice. If you only want a few basics like milk and a loaf of bread, then you're probably OK with the Disney shop option. While there is a bit of a premium when purchasing basic food in the gift shops, it's often not much more than you'd pay in a regular supermarket. I encourage you to go to the independent website DisneyFoodBlog.com. Search there for a four part article series called DVC Villa kitchens. This series lists nearly every food item available for purchase at the Disney shops and also includes a price comparison table with Garden Grocer. Using this, you can do the math yourself based on your own needs.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
