How wonderful that you're taking this trip with your mom! There's something so special about sharing Disney magic together. I actually did a mother–daughter trip earlier this year, and we had the absolute best time, just laughing, exploring, and soaking in every moment. Those memories are ones I'll cherish forever, and I'm sure you and your mom will create your own unforgettable moments too!
In my experience, when you
rent an ECV from the International Gateway entrance, the Cast Members will be more than happy to safely store your mom's walker for the day. During my visit, my mom rented an ECV from that same location, and a Cast Member actually offered to store my personal wheelchair for the day because she thought I would be the one using the scooter. Based on that, I'm sure they'll be able to accommodate a walker without any issue. Just keep in mind that ECV rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so I recommend arriving early to secure one.
During your visit to EPCOT, I hope you'll have a chance to experience the
International Festival of the Holidays. It's such a beautiful celebration of seasonal traditions from around the world, featuring festive entertainment, holiday storytellers, delicious seasonal bites, and of course, the stunning Candlelight Processional. And if you have a sweet tooth, you won't want to miss the Holiday Cookie Stroll! You can sample a variety of specialty cookies from different
Holiday Kitchens and even earn a special treat once you've collected them all. If your schedule allows, it's definitely worth setting aside some time to explore...there's so much to discover!
