Boo to you, Susan! In just a few days you'll be spending some time at my favorite place,
Magic Kingdom Park! It's a place where you can truly leave the world of today and enter into yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy! You're going to have the best day ever!
Susan, on days that Magic Kingdom Park is hosting
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, guests without a ticket for this event will need to exit the park at closing time, which as stated on the
Hours and Events Calendar is 6 PM on party nights. Not to worry, though, this still leaves you many magical hours to enjoy all of the fun that Magic Kingdom has to offer, and generally on days when a party is scheduled, the daytime crowds tend to be a little lighter, resulting in shorter wait times for popular attractions.
Susan, to make the most of your time at Magic Kingdom on a party day, I'd recommend arriving for rope drop and kicking off the day as early as possible. If you're a guest staying at a Disney Resort hotel, this means you can take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry, giving you an additional 30 minutes of morning magic before other guests can enter the park. I'd also recommend securing a dining reservation at one of the
Disney Monorail Resort Hotels for after park closing; it's a great way to end your day with your travel party around the table together, recalling the magic of the day and connecting as a family! My top recommendation would be dinner at
Narcoossee's at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and as an added bonus, if you time it right, you can partially view the
Halloween fireworks from the restaurant's wrap-around porch overlooking Seven Seas Lagoon. This is one of my favorite spots to watch the fireworks outside of Magic Kingdom Park!
Susan, I hope this helps you plan for your time at Magic Kingdom on your upcoming visit! Be sure to also read up on the
Halloween-exclusive snacks being offered inside the park (some are only available during the party, but others can be sampled all day!) so you'll be ready to tackle some treats while you're there! If you have any other questions before your arrival, come on back to
planDisney and let us know!
See you real soon,
Alison
