Hi there,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this question. Halloween is a fantastic time to visit, and this special event is always a spooktacular time. It sounds like you are ready to trick or treat through the park using the force. Whether it is the light or the dark side you represent, I will be happy to help with this.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is awesome for so many reasons, one of them is the low wait times for top attractions.
Tron Lightcycle Run is one of the more popular attractions at
Magic Kingdom Park, and being able to enjoy it during the party is going to be epic. Whether your costume is a Jedi Master or Sith Lord, a lightsaber surely completes the look. This attraction may cause some issues with that lightsaber, because where you load is not the same place you depart from the ride vehicle. The lockers are an awesome option, and being able to store your smaller items there is ideal, but the size of the saber will be an issue. Most attractions this will not be a problem as you can bring it with you, or leave it on the floor of the ride vehicle. You may need to bring a lightsaber that can break down into smaller pieces, or have a friend hold the item while you hop on the ride. The waits are not long so you may be able to ride pretty quickly.
There are plenty of opportunities for extras during this party. Bring an extra pillowcase for candy because you can really load up if you have a sweet tooth. The meet and greets are legendary during this party and the outfits the characters are wearing are always so amazing, so make sure get a picture with your favorites. Another extra is the
Hocus Pocus Villian Spelltacular with the legendary Sanderson Sisters running amuck amuck amuck across the stage in front of
Cinderella Castle. Last but not least be sure to check the showtimes for Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade featuring a bunch of Disney favorites with a spooky twist.
I hope this information is helpful while planning your costume options for your visit. Head back to
planDisney anytime and we will be happy to help.
