    We are coming in May and we love the Japanese restaurants around here but are hesitant about Teppan Edo The menu is different form what we're used to. Can you get fried rice instead of steamed? we are all picky about food. hope you can help? love the panel

    Hi Jordan.  I recently ate at Teppan Edo and it was fantastic.  It is very similar to a Shogun or Benihani's that you would find in GA.  The food was great, service fantastic and what fun to watch them prepare your meal in front of you.  Actually several people at our table did substitute fried rice for steamed rice and it was no problem at all.  I hope this helps and if we can answer anything else, please don't hesitate to come back to the mom's panel.  Have a magical vacation.
