Coming March 30th 2017 for 10 nights with my son and his wife and their 7 year old daughter. which would you choose between the Beach club and the Yacht club? I know they share the pool area but does one have more advantages over the other?

    Hi, Karen!
It sounds like you are planning one heck of an unforgettable vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

I have spent a lot of time at Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Disney's Beach Club Resort and I personally love the Beach Club a little more. First, I like it because the environment is a little less formal. It also has a Quick Service food area, but the only Table Service restaurant is a buffet-style restaurant. Since I love hopping over to Epcot to grab a snack or a drink, the best benefit of the Beach Club is how easy it is to walk over to the park. There's an entrance that takes you to a spot that is between England and France. It's perfect placement to eat as much as you can along the World Showcase.

If you stay at the Yacht Club, the walk to Epcot remains super easy, it just takes a little more time. But it is closer to Disney's Hollywood Studios! I've found you can often walk there faster than the time it takes to ride on one of the water taxis. (But if you're tired, the water taxi is great!) It's also a little faster to walk to the delicious food and shopping on the BoardWalk when you stay at the Yacht Club.

I love all three of the resorts near Epcot because they are so convenient. I love the flexibility to walk or use transportation when it comes to visiting two out of the four Disney parks. Plus, I highly recommend waking up and going outside to the lake for at least one early morning sunrise. It's always gorgeous.

I hope that helps you with your planning! Let me know if I can help you with any other questions before you arrive!
