You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney, Lindsay!
Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.
YAY! Your magical vacation begins so very soon! I can’t wait for you to walk down Main Street, U.S.A., and take in all the magic! From the colorful, bright balloons bobbing the sky to
Cinderella Castle gleaming, you’re going to love it all! I also love the fact that you’d like to get there as early as possible, because that’s always my plan of action when I go to the Theme Parks, as well. It’s a great way to beat the heat as the weather is cooler and the crowds are lower. My family likes to joke that I like to rope drop the parking lot and Disney Monorail!
Lindsay, parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center generally opens about an hour before park opening. The same goes for transportation such as the
Disney Monorail and
ferry boats, from the parking area to the entrance of the park. During this time, you are free to walk around Main Street, U.S.A., grab some magic in a cup from
Main Street Bakery, take some pictures at Cinderella Castle, but let’s get down to business: get towards the entry of your desired location. As for the rides, they generally open when the Park opens, but Cast Members allow you to wait towards the entry area of the particular land you’d like to enjoy. Sometimes, they’re given the OK to allow Guests to enter a little bit earlier, but sometimes not. My family and I like to start with
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train because it gets the busiest towards later in the day. Once we’re through with that, we tackle the rest of the popular attractions in Fantasyland or head to
Space Mountain in Tomorrowland. Either way, you’ll be among the first Guests to accomplish experiencing the most popular attractions!
I hope you have an enchanting time, Lindsay!
