Coming in June and staying at the Polynesian. There will be 5 in the room. Is the daybed safe for a pre-schooler that is used to a toddler bed or is it large enough for an adult? Just trying to think of sleeping arrangements.

Hi, Maureen!  The daybed is large enough for an adult, as long as it's not a very tall adult.  I, however, would probably put a preschooler in there.  You can request guard rails, to help make it a little safer, or you'll have a chair in the room that you can put the back of up against the bed.

The daybed is not high off the ground, so a preschooler will have no trouble getting in and out of the bed by themselves.  I know for my own daughter, I usually just put the chair there to feel a little more secure that she wouldn't fall out of bed.

    I hope that helps!
