We are coming in June 2014 with 2 people in wheelchairs. What are the monorail limitations I've been reading about?

Hi, Janet! The monorail doesn't have any limitations that don't apply to all the other transportation at Walt Disney World Resort.  A Guest's wheelchair/ECV is allowed on all transportation as long as it falls within the 32” x 48” size required by the Disney Transportation System. The monorail only poses one challenge, but experienced chair users shouldn't have any trouble. Cast Members will place a ramp on the accessible car of the monorail for the Guest, but it is very narrow. Backing off the ramp in a scooter is sometimes tricky. Those accustomed to navigating their chairs will be just fine.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
