I am coming in June with my one year old .... and I was wondering how I go about ordering food/diapers before hand to have them delivered to our room in the AKL. Also, should I bring a stroller or rent one at each park?!?!?

    Hi Julia!

Congrats on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! You are going to love the Animal Kingdom Lodge (AKL)! You can order all of your diapers and food ahead of time at the Garden Grocer. Visit gardengrocer dot com to place your order and you can have all of your items delivered to your room.

AKL also has a great selection of grocery items, diapers and kitchen essentials in their on-site stores, including Johari Treasured in Kidani Village and Zawadi Marketplace in Jambo House. They don't deliver to your room, but you can pick it up in the store and easily bring to your room when you arrive.

If you are taking the Walt Disney World bus transportation, I suggest renting a stroller at each park so you don't have to lug a stroller back and forth from the resort to the park. If you are taking your own car, then I suggest bringing your own stroller to save money.
