    Hi! Coming in July to WDW! Booked POR deluxe DP. When making dining reserv, they often ask for a credit card to hold it. Should I put everything on a disney visa? Will I have to start paying for right away or after trip? Only paid $200 to start so far

    Hi Michael!  Woo Hoo!  Congratulations on booking your trip to Walt Disney World!  I love Port Orleans--Riverside... do try the surrey bikes, you don't find that anywhere!  With the new Disney Dining cancellation policy, a credit card is required to hold the reservation.  Just remember if you need to cancel your reservation, please do so 24 hours prior to avoid any charges on your credit card.  Personally, as a fellow Disney Rewards Visa holder, I would put it all on my card.  Remember, you have 0% APR for six months after booking your Disney vacation.  Plus the fact that you earn 1 Disney Reward Dollars for every $100 spent.  You would be able to bank these until your trip, and you can redeem them as dollars while on your vacation! 

    You should begin paying soon as you will only be able to take advantage of the 0% APR for 6 months.  So its in your best interest to pay it in the best time frame for you.
