We will be coming Jan 17-21st for a conference and staying at the Grand Floridian. We will also have a 3 and 5 yr old with us. How should we dress and we only get one day for a theme park. Which is the more practical and least expensive? Thank you

Hi Kathy! The Grand Floridian is absolutely gorgeous!! January is typically the coolest month in Orlando. The average temperatures range between low of 49 and a high of 71. My best advice to you is to dress in layers. Mornings and evenings can be quite cool, but it can be lovely when the sun is out in the afternoons. Depending on the morning temperatures, I would opt for capris and a tee shirt, with a hoodie and wind breaker. Runners and socks are my shoes of choice in cooler months.

The four theme parks, the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, all cost the same to get into. All attractions, parades etc. are included in your admission. Since you have only one day and price is not a factor (given they all cost the same), you can make your choice based on interest. If this is your family's first Disney World visit, then I highly recommend the Magic Kingdom, especially given the ages of your children. You can't beat the looks on their faces when they see Cinderella Castle for the first time.
