I am coming with a group of 14 people (3 families), in a little over a week. I added all of the tickets/names to my account/app and I need to know how to let the separate families have control over their own family rather than me being in charge of all.

    Welcome to planDisney, Staci!

I’m so glad to hEAR you’ll be coming with a fun-loving group to The Most Magical Place on Earth! What a wonderful way to celebrate the magic of summer! I hope you’re ready to try all the Mickey-shaped treats and experience all the incredible attractions!

Staci, if the Guests in your party have not already created their own My Disney Experience accounts, they will need to do that first. Once they have created an account, you can move their theme park tickets and plans to their accounts from your Family and Friends list. Next, you will want to have them download the My Disney Experience Mobile app or visit the Walt Disney World website to create their account from the login screen.

After this, you can go to your Family and Friends list and select "Update" next to their names. Then you will see the option "Share Plans with this Guest.” You will want to select this, which will prompt you to add their email address in the next window. That will send an invitation to them that they will want to accept. Once they have accepted, it will give the Guests access to their own plans and make plans with you.

If you have any trouble with this, feel free to call a Cast Member at the Internet Help Desk at 407-939-7765 from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time. You may experience a wait time; however, I have noticed the hold time is less if you call first thing in the morning.

When I visit Walt Disney World Resort with my extended family, we sometimes separate throughout the day. Then we usually get together to share all about our magical experiences! That way, everyone gets to do what they like, and then you can meet back at the Disney Resorts Collection hotel pool to have fun and share a meal!

I hope you’re thinking about getting the Memory Maker so everyone in your party can be part of the group pictures! One person can purchase the Memory Maker, and the entire party can benefit from it as long as they’re connected to the owner’s Family & Friends list on their My Disney Experience account. Although the pictures they take will show up with a watermark on their account, the Memory Maker owner can download all the pictures without the watermark and share them with everyone!

I hope you all have an enchanting time together, Staci!
