Hi Dawn Marie! Congratulations on your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World resort! The Grand Floridian is a beautiful resort which my children and I have had the pleasure staying in, as well as dining in. There are many dining options at the Grand Floridian, and all range from Signature dining to counter service restaurants.
One of my favorite restaurants is Citrico's. It serves excellent European cuisine, and the service is always top notch. If you are dining during dinner time, you may catch Wishes firework spectacular from one of the many windows.
Another great restaurant at Grand Floridian is Narcoossee's. The cuisine here is primarily seafood, with filet mignon, chicken and vegetable dishes are offered. If dining during dinner time, you can also have an excellent view of Wishes from the restaurant!
For a more intimate and adult experience, there is the AAA Five Diamond award winner, Victoria and Albert's. Offering contemporary American cuisine, served over the course of 2 to 2 and a half hours. Held in a Victorian dining room, with butler service and exquisite crystal, is truly and experience for the mind and a feast for the palate.
Some of the more casual dining experiences are 1900 Park Fare, which offers Character Dining throughout the day, as well as the Grand Floridian Cafe, which serves traditional American fare.
I hope that this helps your decision as to where you might want to dine while staying at the Grand Floridian. More information about these restaurants can be found at the
Grand Floridian Resort and Spa page on the Walt Disney World website.
Have a wonderful trip!
Malanie
