Coming for girls weekend for Star Wars Half. We decided not to book ADRs and to be more spontaneous and less planned. Looking for recs for best sit down dining options to try at parks that we might have a chance to get into without ADR for lunch/dinner.

Hi, Kacey, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The Star Wars Rival Run Weekend is less than a month away, and I'm sure you're excited about it! This is one of my favorite runDisney race weekends, and you and your friends are sure to have a galactic good time.

While last-minute restaurant reservations can be hard to come by on a race weekend, my first suggestion would be to check for openings using your My Disney Experience mobile app 24-48 hours ahead, as some people will cancel their reservations within that window. When my family and I were there for the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend last month, we were able to score a couple of hard-to-get reservations at the last minute!

If that doesn't work for you, though, there are plenty of sit-down restaurant options at each of the Theme Parks that don't require advance reservations. Some of my favorites include Satu'li Canteen at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe at Magic Kingdom Park or ABC Commissary at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Each of these locations also offers Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering, so you won't even need to wait in line! My family and I also enjoy Tangierine Cafe or Sunshine Seasons at Epcot, too.

Enjoy your girls' weekend, Kacey, and best of luck to you on your race!
